Oh to have an imp’s stony lips tickling your soft undercarriage first thing in the morning and not even know it. It seems like owning a house in the UK is like playing archaeological lottery and I’m here for it.

Thanks for sharing. I have just been to Lincoln two days ago and indeed it is a great city.

Wow Dan - I am inspired and have booked in the Mother in Law to get a face moulding next week- so I can adorn our toilet in a similar fashion 👍

Little chance of a spectacular discovery in my 1960s flat, sadly enough.

I love Lincoln Cathedral. Not only the the building itself is magnificent, it's hilly location is wonderful as well (I'm Dutch, anything rising above a grassy knoll feels mountainous). Only Ely can do better location-wise.

The first time you appeared in my life you impressed me with your uniqueness of presentation of facts. You never fo To entertain and inform. That to me is

Your most valuable trait. Thank you 🙏

If that imp could speak.......imagine the stories it could tell.......mostly toilet humour but I'm OK with that......

What's the imp-robability and even imp-ossibility of uncovering such a find in such an un-imp-osing place. Ok, I'll stop but I couldn't let such an imp-ortant newsletter go by without comment. 😂

Not nearly as impressive but when my brother moved into his flat in Dunfermline he found a shot gun hidden in an alcove. Not knowing what to do, he called the local police station for advice. Five minutes later the armed response team showed up to take care of the situation.

At least the Lincoln couple get to keep the imp.
