This weekend I wanted to combine sun, History, and adventure sports. We are in the Paracas National Reserve, 3 hours away from Lima. After walking along the beaches, visiting islands, seeing geoglyphs, going to the museum, and trying to answer my 7-year-old daughter's question about where babies come from, we went to the desert. I had to drive another 1 hour to arrive to an oasis and get a sandboarding experience. After a spectacular crash and having sand in unspeakable part of my body, the next few times I did pretty well. Today my back pain reminds me that I'm not 20 anymore! Enjoy your trip, Dan!
There's some incredible YouTube drone videos of Cornwall that I've been watching for a few years to chill out before sleep. Living in Orlando Fl the weather is beautiful but everything is absolutely flat, I would love to visit Cornwall and do a helicopter tour if that's a possibility

Oh, enjoy your trip and thanks for letting us live vicariously through you! Mother's Day here in Sweden so off the whole family went to a surprise destination. A very cute book café and lo and behold - I came home with a book about the Kalmar Union! The only time in history when Sweden, Denmark and Norway were united under one ruler - Queen Margareta! ...and of course Medieval! Still gutted though after hearing the news about Andy Fletcher passing. Being a hard core Depeche Mode fan for 40 years his passing hit hard. Enjoy the Silence, Fletch!
