Talking about Richard III's secret diary, sackbuts, William Marshal's legend, the worst kings in history, Simon de Montfort's strategy in Gascony, the Mongol Empire, and Thomas Becket's last stand
I was thinking Richard II and Henry V, too, when I wrote the question, as both cleaned up messes that were caused by others. As you know, those kinds of messes are the root cause of many revolts, and it's typically the every day people that would bare the consequences of the revolts the hardest. But I thought that limiting the question to just rulers would have been too narrow of a scope. So, I broadened it a little bit by adding in local leaders.
Dan, the link you sent for ordering broken binding book of Henry v didn't work. I tried everything. Can you help me figure out how to order one? I would love to have one. Thank you.

Hi again
Can you tell me the author and title of that Richard II book again ? I really have to start writing things down
The Helen Castor one? It's called The Eagle and the Hart, out early October and top of my wish list, after a certain biography of Henry V obviously 🙂
Thank you - I did find it on Amazon and pre-ordered 🥳
Matthew Lewis wrote a good book on Richard 111
