Thanks Dan. I lived in Bath for several years and loved going across the Severn Bridge in my VW Beetle called 'Billy the Bastard'. I always dreamed of living in one of those little cottages you see dotted around Wales high up in the hills.

I tried to visit Cardiff more than once, but something always got in the way: flu, a broken leg, the weather, or an annoying ex-boyfriend.

I went to Cardiff for the Women's Champions League Final. Took a day tour through the mountains and valleys. Loved it. And I went down a coal mine. Heaven.

I’m going to Cardiff in May and I’m hoping I can fit in a visit to the castle.

Thanks Dan! What I'd give to have gone to that pageant! I love a good pageant, especially when there are good snack stalls.

Love the castle. Used to live opposite behind the joke shop as there's a hidden little nook of houses behind the shops across the road from it. Think they filmed some of the white princess there. Went there at least once a month with my daughter.

My friend was one of those glum faces but then though ah feck it I'm Irish anyway and went for a pint!

Cardiff Castle is one of those strange mixtures or old and Victorian fluff. It's great to sit on the lawns though and contemplate life!

Thanks Dan. Cardiff is a great city, great bars and great food. Not so great sports teams.
