You’ve not been ravaged by time, friend – you still have brown hair! But you’ve brought up losing hair or taking supplements for it now and then, so if you haven’t taken Ho Shou Wu (Fo-Ti) yet, grab a couple of bottles. It’s a world-known miracle hair growth herb (among other great benefits) that works.

No it's not beneficial. He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum) is a world-known toxic herb which causes Hepatocellular Hepatitis.

In large doses, it can damage the liver–so can Tylenol and cassia cinnamon, and people consume those without a second thought. He Shou Wu has long been used as a tonic to prevent premature aging by tonifying the kidney and liver functions, nourishing the blood, and fortifying the muscles, tendons and bones, and has components that are potent antioxidants with gentle anti-inflammatory action. That information is available to view on the NIH website. As always with herbs, they are not for everyone, and those who take them should make sure that the source is organic and pristine. 🥰

Sorry mate, I happen to be a physician and I can confidently tell you that the hepatotoxicity of Polygonum multiflorum has nothing to do with its dose. In patients sensitive to it even a tiny dose can cause hepatitis, and even if patients are insensitive to it and does not demonstrate syndromes immediately it still damages the hepatic cells as can be proven by pathological diagnosis.

You’ve been ravished by time, not ravaged.

Lives should be separate from this in my humble opinion. They tend to be a bit chaotic (which can be fun, just a different vibe). Showing off the lovely grounds of a gorgeous historic borrowed house seems a perfect reason to do a live.
