MILLENNIA BOOKS
New special editions of the greatest history books - what would you like to see next?
Brilliant history books deserve to be beautiful.
That’s the idea behind Millennia Books, a publishing company started by the team who created The Broken Binding, which is dedicated to making stunning special editions of history books, available for delivery all over the world.
Millennia Books recently published a fine special edition of The Plantagenets. (It has sold out, but we’ll be producing a second run of it in the coming weeks.) And there will be more special editions of mine coming soon - including Castles, this autumn.
You can see all the current titles on the new online shop: https://millenniabooks.co.uk
There are signed, numbered special editions of Alexander: God, King, Man by Edmund Richardson, Regina by Kate Williams and Babylon by Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones.
I know a lot of subscribers to History, Etc love these special editions. And so do I. In fact, I love them so much that I have become a co-owner of the company.
SO. I (we) would love to know:
What history books would you like to see given the Millennia Books treatment?
They can be new books, old books, all-time classics. Anything that you would love to have on your bookshelf in a glorious new format.

Exciting… I think?

Exciting indeed! I think this is the future of publication - giving the material object itself the heft and beauty that make readers love books.
I’d love to see some Millenia magic given to Helen Castor’s masterpiece - The Eagle & the Hart. I’m betting it would be ALL kinds of stunning! 🦅🦌🙏🏻♥️
