There's a lot of amazing take-aways from this episode but adding the phrase "thermometer into the rectum of history" to my philological arsenal is the greatest value for money so far

If we’re going for a home-away series per pair of armies, let’s make it more entertaining by limiting reserves being fielded.

Basically I want to see a final where the last, best warrior standing on each side go at each other. Should be a right laugh at the least.

War and Peace, one of my all-time favourite books! I was sad when I finished it, no more story to read. I might read it again, it's been 2 decades since I first read it.

How do you feel about amphibians? Are they as fascinating as reptiles?? We have a horned toad out back and he's a pretty cool reptile.

War and Peace! What a great read! I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I even bought the BBC (?) Miniseries. The one with Anthony Hopkins looking like he was going to burst into tears at any moment.

Technically I don’t think IRA vs Taliban should be called a re-enactment. I don’t totally understand the whole re-enactment scene but there must be a different name for these fantasy battles. Or do they just all merge into one great costume drama?
