Lovely picture and I am loving the excerpts from the book. I have a sneaky feeling that Santa might be popping a signed copy in my stocking this year 🙂
Nice pic. Am hearing the drought is causing havoc over there. Is the Seine quite low, as well? This book is pulling me in, especially with your mention of Godefroi... imagining my GGG+, Sir Godfrey Foljambe hanging with these guys. BTW...when exactly was "f%$k" first recorded as being used? There are so many different opinions. I figured you would know if anyone Dan.
Were commands like “No prisoners,” as mentioned in the excerpt, really in use during the Hundred Years War. We’ve all seen that command in various television shows and movies, but we’re medieval conquests really that extreme? (No knock; just asking.)

A two-part doc on Edward III. Ambassador you are indeed spoiling us. Cracking photo and loving the excerpts from the book.
Interesting view - looks like they had the high ground which I imagine had to be an advantage?
Rouen is a magical place!

On the road with The Dogs!
Do you have video of said dance? ...or is that pay-per-view??
