You should be thinking Kingdom Come Deliverance…playing it now, and an Essex Dogs style game that explores sieges, campaigns, and definitely dysentery would be incredible. You should have your people talk to the Warhorse studios people. I have much sympathy for your video game addiction. Have come to a healthy place where I can control myself but it’s not easy 😅

Thanks for answering, that's another book added to the rather long TBR pile! Did also enjoy the STE evening, gorgeous church (spotted some good looking pubs nearby too) and was really lovely chatting to people about who they were there to see and hear. You've also added Sir Gawain and the Green Knight to my reading list, very much enjoyed listening to that :)
