GIVE ME THE DAMN BOOK

Please.

I'm halfway through Essex Dogs, and happen to read it alongside James Holland's Brothers in Arms. All that blood, gore, misery and stark fear....I've decided to not invade Normandy. Life-altering, I know.

GIVE ME THE DAMN BOOK

Had a bereavement this week, totally not pulling on the heart strings for a free book to cheer me up (yeah I am). This looks awesome.

Well Dan, you have done it again. You brought me through the haze of The COVID Years and now, allowed me to wander lazily theough another great read in Essex Dogs. No, it wasn't the mindless fog of my bout with 3rd time COVID, it was your talent for roping me in with your charming glue of a writing style. I am hopelessly hooked on anything you print pist or say, anyway. As I sit outside in a perfect Autumn, I can imagine these faces, smell the sea air(and less-pleasant odors), hear the horses snort and chuff and the recalcitrant bray of the donkey. It was real, whether you say it is fiction or not. It will he hard to wait on My Dogs to visit me again in book 2, but I must...and with considerable anticipation. This time, without COVID IV, I hope.

Thanks Dan...again.

Now, GIVE ME MY DAMN BOOK, please.
