I remember being at Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation in Georgia with our 6 year old son. My son didn't understand the guide as he was really talking about stuff or son wasn't interested in, so I was making it interesting to our son by changing the delivery.. The guide then asked me if we were German.
We're British... 🤣
We were often asked if we were German in the less touristy Southern spots on our trip
