I think it’ll be too cloudy for me to see it, also I don’t think I could wake myself up that early 😅

In pre-hispanic Peru, people beat dogs, because they believed dog's howls would scare away the evil spirits that appeared with eclipses.

Maybe the End of the World (as we know it) can wait until after your Essex Dogs is released. That would be much more convenient.

Great bit, especially the story from India. Wow.

As always for an event during sleepy time, I will set my alarm for anti social o clock with the intention of seeing the eclipse. Then when the alarm does go off, I will curse to myself for setting the wrong time, forgeting why I set it in the first place, and go back to sleep. Then when I do wake up I will curse to myself for missing the event

FFS Jones I already worship you, telling us all about your escapades around the world is just making it worse. 😂

Please stuff me in your luggage next time you go anywhere in Asia, I promise I won't make a sound. 😂❤️

To honest, didn't know anything about it until I woke up this morning and it was on the news! Probably didn't miss anything anyway, what with the weather up north of England being so grim!

Interesting read, thanks Dan. 🌧

I was up early enough to see the eclipse, because I was doing an early morning airport drop off for family, but it was raining, so there was no sign of it. I'm up again and it doesn't appear that the world has ended whilst I slept. Perhaps I'll find that out for sure after this cup of coffee...

Shiny! Interesting stuff. Here in Boise we had storms blow through this evening and the sky is still full of clouds. I'm hoping for a glimpse of the moon but if not I'm sure the internet will be full of pictures tomorrow.
