Happy Valentine’s. I’m travelling, so this is just a little token of my affection this Monday. If you’re a subscriber, I love you very much. If you’re not a subscriber yet, you could be. I have plenty of love to go round.
Anyway, here it is. The skull of Saint Valentine, patron saint of lovers and beekeepers, martyred around 269AD. This is displayed in the basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, in Rome.
