My debut novel, Essex Dogs, is published on September 15th. It’s set in the year 1346 during the Hundred Years War, and follows a group of 10 ordinary men in Edward III’s army as they land on the Normandy beaches then try to survive a nightmarish summer in what becomes known to history as the Crécy campaign.
