March has been quite a month, work wise.
Three weeks ago I was in the weeds, the absolute weeds, with the first and biggest edit of my Henry V biography.
Now as I sit at my desk, I am surrounded by planning notes and sketches for the final instalment of the Essex Dogs trilogy.
It’s quite a lane-switch, and once again I am reminded of the profound difference between thinking/writing nonfiction and fiction.
But that’s me. What about you? It’s nearly the end of the month, so it’s time for the monthly mailbag feature on History, Etc.
It’s a simple old thing. You ask the questions - leave them in the comments on this post. I’ll make a video in which I do my best to answer them all.
There are no real rules - except to say that only paid subscribers are able to leave comments. The video will of course go out to everyone, and I believe it also emerges on the First Draft audio feed.
If you want to become a subscriber, just click here. All are welcome!
Oh, and stay tuned, because I have some exciting news for UK readers in particular - I think I have found a shop that will facilitate ordering SIGNED and PERSONALISED copies of all, yes all, of my books, including pre-orders of Henry V.
More on that in the next few days.
In the meantime, over to you for questions.
Dan
